Bringing Back The Polaroid Instant Camera!

When you’ve been around for 90+ years like we have, you’ve seen quite a few hot technologies come and go. We have also seen a few make a striking comeback, and we’re glad to see Polaroid as one of those tech gadgets that seems to stick around, with photography rising in popularity. While most people use their smartphone these days, there’s still something satisfying about getting an instant print of your photo, and the limitations of needing film can actually help you take better photos, since you’re a bit more selective.

The Polaroid Instant Camera, now available at RadioShack, helps you do this and adds a bit of nostalgia. There are tons of great reasons to check out the Polaroid Instant Camera at your local RadioShack store, and we’re convinced that there are MORE old gadgets that you would LOVE to see make a comeback. So, we want you to tell us!

Leave a comment below and let us know which old gadget YOU would bring back!

One lucky commenter will receive a RadioShack prize pack including a Polaroid Instant Camera, some film, and an exclusive RadioShack t-shirt!

Whaaaat??? The Polaroid Instant Camera is back?! WOOHOO!! I’ve been hoping for that!! I’ve always always, ALWAYS missed my original Polaroid Camera, and wished it had never broke. I had so many good times & memories with it. But, since that’s back, I guess I have to comment with something else that I’d love to be back. How about the Original Atari? There’s all this fancy schmancy stuff for gamers, but I think having the original back would definitely bring back that appreciation for original gaming!

  • gilbert

    8 track tape player

  • Kyle Burnett

I wish 8-Tracks would come back. Sure, they were obsolete pretty much when they came back, but with a few tweaks to the design, the only thing cassettes would have had over them was size.

  • Lud Merka

  • Brandon Hughes

I would bring back the Sony Walkman!

  • Yaslyn Washington

I am going to have to go with the cassette tape recorder. It was fun to snap those buttons down and recording voices, music and listening to tapes. Also, fast forwarding the tape was always fun. Sure, you can use your cell phone to record, but there was just something really fun about the tape recorder. I got my first one in the mid 70′s and my first tape was Three Dog Night. Those were the days!

  • Joshua Langrel

I wish they would bring back old super 8 cameras, I still prefer how cozy the film turns out.

  • Aileen Medina

  • Avemaria karas

I would love to win that instant camera. I am happy that they brought it back. I still have so many of the first polorid pictures where you had to pull the strip off that was the negative after the pic developed.
Then there were the newer ones that just came right out of the camera. I had so many pics stolen from me back then.

I loved when the holidays came around because we would all sit in the living room and listen to old school Christmas songs or watch the movies. I also miss the black and white tv’s….man those were the days!!

  • Gabrielle Nave

Totally bring back the Polaroid instant print camera!

  • Colleen begley
