Liquipel at 2013 CES

In addition to the cool gadgets that you find at the Consumer Electronics Show, there are countless companies that are showing off various cases and other ways to protect your gadget. One of these companies that caught our eye was Liquipel, which has a technique for making pretty much any gadget water safe, using a special nano material that coats your phone, inside and out. I got a demo from founder Kevin Bacon to see how this works.

We’ll be uploading more videos throughout the show, straight from the floor, so you’ll want to make sure you come back to techspecs often to stay up to speed. You can also follow us on Twitter at @RadioShack, and we’ll be posting photos from the show floor on RadioShack’s Instagram account, as well.

Would YOU like to be able to bring your phone to RadioShack to have it made water safe?
