I’ve been obsessed with cellphones and the mobile industry as a whole for as long as I can remember – back before SIM cards, color screens, and cameraphones, when typing ‘RadioShack’ required you to press 77723444666777744222255. In the last few years, phones have gotten smarter, and in the process, more complicated. At RadioShack, we offer plans from AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, and a host of others. We also have over 50 different phone models for our customers to choose from.
We understand that can be a daunting experience, so we’re launching ‘RadioShack’s School of Smart‘. Over the next few weeks, we’ll bring industry experts together with RadioShack employees to help educate YOU about your mobile life, helping you choose the best phone, plan and accessories to fit YOUR lifestyle.
This Wednesday at 11:30 AM CST, RadioShack will host a Google+ Hangout with Myriam Joire (aka Tnkgrl) from Engadget.com, Marin Perez from KnowYourCell.com, and David Ruddock from AndroidPolice.com to discuss the current state of smartphones and the potential future of mobility. These panelists will talk about the latest phones, how to choose a mobile device and their predictions for the future of the industry, among other things.
