Maker Faire is a great way to get kids engaged in a creative project. It always nice to stop by the Shack for under false pretense of' " looking for something" the kids quickly get bored and start looking around, before I know it, I hear "Daddy look at this!" Mission Accomplished!

It was great to see RadioShack at World Maker Faire this past weekend, and to see RS embrace the DIY crowd once again. I run a makerspace in NJ and I am wondering, how can local makerspaces and DIY clubs work together with their local Radio Shack stores to help build community at the local level? I'm sure there must be an opportunity here somewhere, such as a makerspace hosting a workshop at a RadioShack, or being able to sell RS Kits at the makerspace's lab.

How can we extend the magic of Maker Faire to the local level, all year round?
