#BackTheShack At The Amgen Tour Of California: Stage 7

This is post 8 of 9 in the Tour of Cali 2011 series

Mt. Baldy is the ending location of Stage 7 of the 2011 Amgen Tour of California, and it makes for quite a climb. The whole stage is over 75 miles long and the riders will reach an elevation of over 2,000 feet! This also happens to be a slightly more challenging stage for the fans, as the roads are typically blocked off, forcing you to hike up the hill if you want to see a piece of the action. Sarah is there on the mountain to find out who the most hardcore fans are and who their favorite Team RadioShack cyclist is. Watch the video below, and be sure to come back tomorrow for our final video.

Throughout the week, we’ll have exclusive videos from each of the eight stages of the Tour of California, including a Q&A session with a cycling pro, fan interviews, and more. We’ll also be hosting a daily contest at http://www.Facebook.com/RadioShack with awesome prizes, including an HTC Inspire 4G in red and a Motorola Xoom.

There is a new contest every day, with a Virtual Cyclist that fans will need to cheer on by tweeting @RadioShack with #BackTheShack and a few words of encouragement. Make sure you let your friends know, because the daily prize won’t be unlocked until the Virtual Cyclist reaches the end of the stage – the more tweets you send, the faster he’ll move. Once the prize is unlocked, every person who tweeted is automatically entered to win the prize for that day.

You can get all the details at http://www.Facebook.com/RadioShack, so head over there now. You can also follow us on Twitter at @RadioShack to keep up with all the awesome #BackTheShack tweets throughout the week.
