The Shack’s Easter Gift Guide

Candy’s great. I love sweet stuff. But what do I love more? Sweet gadgets. Maybe this Easter when I come downstairs to gaze in amazement at my bountiful basket I’ll discover more than plastic eggs and marshmallow bunnies. Maybe, just maybe, it’ll be crammed full of stuff like this:

HEXBUG Nano Bunny

These micro robotic creatures are some of the coolest toys on shelves right now. They move around just about any surface using vibration and tiny legs. If they hit an obstacle, they quickly recover and head another way. They’re fast, fun and promise to keep just about any kid entertained. Plus, they’re a pretty good fit for those plastic eggs.

Nintendo 3DS

If your little ones have been behaving especially well lately, then plopping one of these in their pastel baskets would be an awesome reward. We recently posted an unboxing video  of the 3DS, so if you’re unfamiliar with why it’s so incredibly incredible you should check it out.

AUVIO Pearl Buds

Getting a newsound system for your head is always a good thing. These ear buds deliver high-quality sound and include three different sizes of silicone tips to fit all ears. And not only will they fit perfectly into a plastic egg, but they’re also on sale for $9.99 now through April 23 at RadioShack stores.

Enercell Emergency USB Charger

With one of these, you can rest assured that your loving children will never explain away their lack of contact by showing you the dead battery on their phone. You can pick one up at RadioShack on sale for just $9.99 now through

April 23. It’s capable of charging most devices with mini/micro USB charging ports and will look pretty cool sitting next to a chocolate bunny.

Gigaware Wireless Optical Mouse

This thing is tiny, wireless and both Mac and PC compatible. The slide-in receiver makes it excellent for dropping into a laptop bag or backpack. If you think about it, it kind of looks like an egg, so it’s pretty much perfect for Easter. It’s on sale right now through April 23 for $17.99 at your neighborhood RadioShack store.

What’s the best Easter gift you’ve ever given or received?
