One of the cool products we saw at the 2011 International CTIA Wireless event in Orlando this week is the RIM BlackBerry PlayBook. This cool tablet sports a 7-inch display and has a full web browser with Flash built-in, for desktop-like browsing on the go. The PlayBook lets you multitask like a pro, which is perfect if you need to check an email in the middle of your Need for Speed race. If you already use a BlackBerry smartphone, you can also connect to your PlayBook via Bluetooth to see all of your contacts, emails, and even BBM chats right on the PlayBook.
We really enjoyed the BlackBerry PlayBook’s svelte design, and the gestures make it really fun to navigate on the PlayBook, as well. We were also impressed with the sound quality of the built-in speakers and the clarity and brightness of the display.
The RIM BlackBerry PlayBook will be available at The SHACK on April 19th, starting at $499.99 for the 16GB model.
