Nokia was kind enough to invite us to check out the newly announced Nokia Astound for T-Mobile in their booth at CTIA Wireless 2011 this week. This sleek smartphone is deceptively small, but features a large 3.5-inch AMOLED display and a whopping 8 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording. The Astound also comes with Nokia’s Ovi Maps solution, which offers free voice-guided turn-by-turn GPS navigation, with weather and other extras baked right in.
The Nokia Astound for T-Mobile was named the ‘Best Affordable Smartphone‘ at CTIA Wireless 2011 by Notebook.com, and will be available in limited quantities at The SHACK on April 6th.

The Astound is using Symbian^3 which means that users can choose from a wide range of apps and games from Ovi Store. There are fresh new apps to improve the photo quality for its 8Mpixel cam like 3DPhotoFree and the capability to read ebooks in ePub and .txt format like mbooks app.

I??d say the Iphone, because while it may seem that the Nokia has a lot of cool features at first, with the Iphone you can buy endless amounts of apps and features with the app store, it??s touchscreen, motion-sensors, 8 or 16 gig, it??s lasts a lot longer than a Nokia phone, and It??s all together a better phone.
